In the 70s, Jamie Reid, the designer for the Sex Pistols, was completely broke and used to cut up newspapers to craft his collages. Decades later, here I am, taking inspiration from that aesthetic, among other things, behind my computer.

It took me over 80 gig and DJ set posters before I dared to dive into a personal series. And for the occasion, I brought out my craft knife and a roll of tape.

Dans les années 70, Jamie Reid, le graphiste des Sex Pistols, était complètement fauché et découpait des journaux pour bricoler ses collages. Des décennies plus tard, c’est derrière mon ordi que je m'inspire, entre autres, de cette esthétique.

Il m’a fallu créer plus de 80 affiches de concerts et de DJ sets avant de me lancer dans une série personnelle. Et de ressortir pour l'occasion mon cutter et un rouleau de scotch.
